This is the finalised card design for Justice. I had asked for suggestions on a scenario for him, and the favourite was the remains of a battlefield, so I placed him in one. I tried a dirt field, but it looked more like a desert than a field, so the grassy field was brought in.
This is the fully finished design, the size of the shield was increased so that it would protect more of the character, and his legs have been lengthened a bit because he previously looked top heavy. The hip armour has also been removed because I felt it didn't really add much to the character, therefore feeling unnecessary.
This was stage 2 of the finalised design, the halberd was changed to a spear instead because I felt the spear complimented the shield much better considering he is a defensive character.
This was the first stage of the chosen final design for Justice, as you can see, he was originally going to have a halberd as his weapon of choice.
Here are some more character concepts for Justice, as depicted in a fantasy setting.

VIII - Justice
This was the second of 5 characters I had to design based on the Major Arcana of the Tarot Deck. This was done for my Honours project at University.
I wanted to give him the look of a "protector" and give him a strong sense of justice, so I gave him the shield and spar for the defender side of things, and the silver armour with gold trim for the "white knight" kind of look.
